v6 and 1.8t wheel axles are not interchangeable correct?

I checked the rears on my 2. they were the same, L & R for the 2.8 & 1.8t...
for more specific info your model year would help. But looking through ETKA for the '01 2.8Q-tip and '00 1.8t Q-tip (my cars) they differential by manual or auto.

What year, trans car do you have? or check on car-part dot com they usually..
