Is the V6 12V engine in the Audi 90 the same engine as the A4 12V? If so would a chip for the 90....

Is the V6 12V engine in the Audi 90 the same engine as the A4 12V? If so would a chip for the 90....
work the A4? Been searching for chips and seems like there are many chips available for the audi 90 and 100 which use a 2.8 12v. If they are the same engine could the chips be used in the A4? Wetterauer hows chips for the 90 which is why I am asking.

It is the same engine with minor modifications (m)
Unfortunately one of those modifications was to replace the ECU with a Hitachi unit that nobody has really cracked. Gains would be pretty minimal anyway without major intake and exhaust work.
