Default Vag code help

anyone able shed some light on my dilemma? i've got a 97 audi a4 1.8t q auto w/ apr v3.1 chip 93 octane, upgraded tt bpv, and today, i lent my car to a friend and when i got it back the cel was on.

i vag'ed it and got the following codes: 16684 random, multiple cylinder misfire detected

po300-35-10 intermittent

16687 cylinder #3 misfire
po 303-35-10 intermittent
readiness 0000 0000

i cleared the codes and asked my friend about the kind of gas that he filled up the tank w- he said 89. so i put nos octane booster. drove the car around w/ no problems, but then when i was wot, the car hesistated and the cel started to flicker and then when i left off and then wot again, the cel stayed on. but the car still idles well and doesn't hesitate @wot. but i'm not sure if it still has full boost.

will this problem go away after the gas is burned and i refill w/93? or is this a bad coil pack in cylinder #3.

or something else?

thx.

actually, i called rapid parts up and asked them the same questions. they recommended that i run the car until < 1/2 tank and then clear the codes and fill up w/94 octane.

i'm probably picking up the pinging in cylinder #3 and setting the cel off.

since dumping the nos octane booster and outlaw octane booster, the driving around town, the cel has stayed off (knock on wood). hopefully, that's all it is.
