I have a airbag warning light on my dash, I had it twice before and both times i was able to clear it with my vag tool.

Recently the light came on a third time and i went to clear it. Its says it cleared but when I scan again the code is still there and the airbag light is still on.

Does anyone have an idea about how i can get this code cleared?

if it's an intermittent warning, chances are it'll clear fine. if it senses a major fault in the system, it may not clear it.

there was a glitch in the software for the 2000 model year a4s. I do not know if it was fixed yet.

when i clear it, i can see the airbag light on the dash turn off for about 1-2 seconds then it turns back on.
