has more features, same (radartest.com says double the amount) sensativity, less money.
V1 is ugly, clunky, more expensive but has directional arrows which DO serve a purpose.
You have to decide on whether or not it's worth the extra $.
I just picked up the 8500 after deciding they weren't worth the extra dough. Good Luck!
