Default VCDS Lite (VAGCOM) Airbag module problem

Hey,
well, i've been searching the web for a fix, without success..
Anyways, i'll keep things short.

I have VCDS Lite and use it with a cable of ebay..
I don't have any issues reading the engine, instrument cluster, etc etc..
The problem is that it says "to many communication errors" when trying to read AIRBAG or Auto HVAC.
I really need to access the AIRBAG module to clear the codes because while fixing the wiggling of the passenger seat, I must of accidentally triggered the AIRBAG light because of the yellow cable wiring or something.

But, I can't access it to clear it, and i'm stuck with the dumb AIRBAG Light On while driving.

Any help would be appreciated..

we can't access the module because of the driver's side airbag system?
could you elaborate on it?
would unplugging the battery and leaving the car without power all night reset the codes? I don't think it would affect the car??

Letting car sit with no battery wont help. Just buy a cheap module resetter off of Ebay for like 40 bucks. Physically, they're badly made, but work fine.

Are you Really sure doing so will Not wipe out those codes?
Know one has a clue as to Why i can't access the module with VCDS (Ross tech VAG.COM newer version)?

I hate to scare you, but if you have VAG software communicating with the rest of your car, but are getting communication errors with the module, it is entirely possible that the module itself will have to be replaced. Have some diagnostics run on the module, and if this is the case, then sorry, but chances are it won't be cheap to replace, although you may want to check into picking up a salvage unit.

Yes, I am sure that unhooking the battery will not help. The airbag system is tied in with safety, and therefore cannot be reset too easily. Audi designed the system to require diagnostics if tripped.

Maybe try the airbag reset tool off ebay, but sounds as if you may have a problem on your hands.

Good luck man!

well heres what i did, i used electric tape and taped yellow and black wire on male and female connectors, Then i used zip ties to make sure that connectors are very tight, this is important by the way. Oh try using vag com 409.1 because that worked for me and i went to air bag section and it cleared.
