while back for his a6, and luckily the fcc id numbers were the same. I got a spare key made of my original key and did the programming procedure for the new remote. Worked like a charm. I now want to take my new cut key and attach it to my old remote (that no longer works) so i can have leverage to start the car, (rather than using pliers to turn the key)
I looked at the tech section, and the instructions don't seem to make sense on how to remove the key from the remote. Do i have to insert something in between the two little holes? Or do i just push behind the key to pop it out?
Thanks guys.
