Default vibration at high speeds after adding Stern Power Ring...

I know my rims aren't perfect, and I know my left front tie rod end is bad... which is most likely to be causing the vibration felt now that the drivetrain is "hard-mounted" to the car's chassis via the Stern Power Ring?

Thanks

Default There will be a bit of vibration after installing it correctly... if too much vibration have

someone sit in the back seat area with the lower seat out and feel the chassis where the vibrations are coming from... if dead center of the car close to where the center seat belts are then its just the differential mount.

Default clearly it's vibrations that already existed in the drivetrain that are now being transferred to...

.. the chassis of the car. My question was more: which underlying reason (bad tie rod end or dinged inner edge of rims) is the more likely one to cause this drivetrain vibration?

Default Probably neither, not to say the wheels couldn't do it... maybe the center drive shaft is a little

misaligned... lots of variables out there.

Default tie rod - def. not. bent wheels yes. you probably do have something else

other than the wheels. do you feel vibration thru steering wheel or seat? that will tell you what end of the car is making the vib.
