Default Violent Shaking

Please someone soothe me by telling me this is only an alignment problem due to all the snow? Car starts shaking violently around 65-70mph. Or could the suspension still be frozen or did the alignment get really screwed up while driving in the snow?

Default Do you have snow packed into some or all of your rims?

That's a common thing. A bunch of snow packed into your rims would seriously throw your wheels out of balance.

That'd be my guess.

Got a hair dryer and an extention cord? *hehe*

Default I had the same problem this morning from all the snow

Braking and letting the car sit in a garage for a few hours took care of the problem

Default snow on the wheels, once the car warms up, and

maybe some poking around the wheels, carefully, to get all the snow out.

Agree - snow. Had same this am. Pulled into garage and all 4 corners were steaming from disc heat.
