Sorry guys, never really came to a conclusion on this one...
To those that dont know the story, I just got the car painted from about mid-section of the front doors foward. Before I picked the car up they had buffed the whole car out for me. Now the whole front section that was painted has some swirls in it that were left behind from the buffer.. Not just any swirl marks, these look like they are deep within the paint and move as I move back and forth... Its actually pretty weird..
I called the guys at the body shop that painted the car and they told me that its not a good idea to put wax on the portions of the car that were just painted. He said there are certain (oxidants or whatever) that had to escape the fresh paint and wax would only block them from curing and possibly even bubble..
I can wait to put the wax on the car..I would just like to use something good. Something thats going to be able to handle these swirls in the paint and still bring life to the rest of the car. At the same time put a good hard coat of protective wax on the car before it goes in for the clearbra..
Any suggestions?

you're going to need a lot more than a wax to get rid of those swirl marks. You'll need a hand polish/glaze at the least, and possibly a professional buffing. Make sure the paint is totally cured before you take that approach. Also, I'd suspect that the clear bra people are going to want bare paint to apply the 3M sheeting to, not paint with wax over it.
