Default Pick a single direction and stick with it

If you wax up and down...and you make a scratch it will be visable from only one angle (or at least less) If you wax in circles...you basically make scratches which can be seen from any angle :-( they look like swirls.

He's right! Mr. Miyagi messed me up. Keep it in one direction. I prefer left/right.

i wax with the lines of the car...basically the direction wind travels over it at speed =)

If the wax is pure carnuba with no abrasives at all, the direction does not matter. If you are using a wax with any abrasive content, you should go side to side (left to right, right to left. Got it?
