engine bay temps. Dam it gets hot under there after you shut down. Cant be good for all the wiring and hoses.

Often times, I'll shut the car down and start it up again a little later. The oil temp will be a "tick" or two past normal until I start the car moving. It must be hot in there!
I thought the cooling fan is supposed to switch on even when the car is off to deal with this problem. Lots of cars do that, and there's even a warning sticker under the hood that says the cooling fan can activate even when the engine is off ... but it never seems to happen in my car.

Less pull on the engine, more power for fun!
I just don't know how well the electric fans would do to cool that engine bay.

My electric replacement fan has been working quite well - and better freeway response too less the load of the belt driven one.
