So I'm driving down the road yesterday in 3rd gear doing about 35 mph when all of a sudden the car lurches forward a tiny bit. It felt as if all gas input was cut off. Anyway, I glanced down at the dash and saw the check engine light appear. Before I could even mutter an obscenity, the car went back to smooth sailing and the light went away.
Does anyone have ANY idea what may have caused this? For the record, I've got an APR v3.0 chip in there and have had no problems in 10,000 miles with it. Anyone in South Jersey with a VAG tool who wants to look for thrown codes?
Thanks in advnace for the tips!
Scott.

I was on the interstate when it happened. Ith light came on then went away. Never had a problem since then though. I'm guessing the computer blipped.

Was under full throttle accelerating, engine cut-out for a split second, light on, then back to normal.
