Default Well 96k and the original clutch is finally on it's way out...

When i bought the car in may, their was about 1.75 inches of friction zone in the clutch peddal. What i mean by this is there was about 1.75 inches of travel from when you release the pedal to engage the clutch to when it is fully engaged. It has sice shrunk to nearly 1/2 and inch.

While i did have to relearn how to drive a manual (spent a year and a half with a 91 V8 quattro slushbox), i know i havent smoked the clutch more than once.

I have regular "spirited" drives, so a sportier clutch wouldnt really be a problem. What kind of clutch have some of you used, and who do you recomend to go through? What are good prices for the parts? What parts are exactly needed?

Any help would be awesome...

Thanks,
