Well...that blows....can't get my VVME HID kit to work in my new E-codes...

did you try switching the wires? IIRC, black isn't ground with that kit.

Nope....didn't try that.....I guess I should have. Can Anyone confirm that Black is not Ground Wire?

Default you no doubt put the plug that goes into the HID incorrectly. The large "nub" does

not hold the connector unto the ballast its the small almost invisible one that is designed to hold the plug unto the ballast. Turn the plug so that the hooks on the connector face away from the ballast not toward the ballast. Please don't ask how I know.

are you trying them in the housing or holding them in your hand. they need to ground out

Default Well...that definitely is a possibility. That's exactly what I did.

I guess I'll have to try them the other way.

black is ground most people plug the harness into the ballast the wrong way

Default Check two wires where VVME kit plugs into OE conector that used to sit on OE bulb.

As I remember there are black and reddish/brown wires going into the OE plugs. The kit, I think, has black and blue separate wires (not a connector) that you plug into the OE connector. Black should go to black and blue to reddish. That at least was my problem. Good luck.
