Default Got a continuance, as the Officer was dismissed...

I WOULD have thought the ticket would have gotten thrown out. Solicitor said that if the Officer does not appear next time, it'll be dismissed. I go thru this again in two weeks.

I know you where kidding.

Default Really plain clothes or just kind of plain but some times snazzy without going overboard plain(M)

clothes?

I have been pulled over a couple of times since I got a carry permit and when they see that I have one the let me off with a warning(so it seems, they may let me go anyway)why is that?

Default just wondering, you say you are a plain clothes officer....

does that mean your "work" vehicle is your A4 or do you ride in a big white Crown Vic that doesn't look 1 bit suspicious with deck and grille lights???

if you do use the A4 what are your means of lighting??? I have been contemplating a full out strobe system for it and am planning on using Whelen police strobes...

Default I usually leave the audi at home, don't want criminals knowing what i drive...

but, I also don't drive around a big crown vic. We actually use, and i hate to say this new mustangs,. Don't ask why, cause i couldn't tell you? Now our unmarked traffic division are the ones in the Unsuspicious crown vics. My work is taking down drug dealers and domestic abuse cases mostly. I'm not a Homicide investigator, thank god. Oh I have A xenon conversion kit coming for the audi if it ever gets here?? Oh to answer just dave, i have NO dress code, exept of course on my court dates. Go for the strobes, that'd be pretty cool i think, hehe

Default you mean a handgun carry permit?

Dunno, usually officers are willing to cut people with carry permits breaks because then are in essence helping to make the streets a bit safer, and our jobs a bit easier. I know that sounds cheesy, but alot of us do look at it that way.
