Default Well, some of you gave me suggestion to go with MbQuarts for the fronts, but I don't know which.....

Is MBQuart DSD 213 should be enough, or I have to go with MBQuart PSC 213 ? What do you guys think ?
The price different is huge enough though.

And I am still planning to keep my stock headunit. It will be powered by Jl Audio 300/4 amp

Thank you once again guys

Default If you are going to power it with the 300/4 you will hear the difference...its up to you

how much emphasis you put on sound.

Default The high end ones (forget what they're called) are crazy expensive and amazing......

I have the next-to-highest end MB Quarts, and they still sound awesome. Unless you're a total audiophile, they're plenty.

Sorry, I don't remember what model # they're called, installed them about 3 years ago.....still sound like they're brand new, by the way.

So I would say go with the cheaper ones.....MB Quart simply does not make a bad speaker.

Default yup, I saw it, thanks for the information :)

I know my approach is strange though, but I thought I want to try if adding just a sub will be enough for me. But now I know that adding just a sub is not enough

Default take a listen to the Boston Acoustic Rally's,.....

I never thought that I would be praising a Boston Acoustic speaker, but damn they impressed the hell out of me. I have a pair of RX67- 6 1/2's on my rear deck and the clarity is awesome. Suprisingly good bass response (best I've heard from a Coaxial speaker) and the mid and treble are sweet, you can feel it.
They were $180 a pair, but I'd have to say that they sounded better than my $200 Rockford Fosgate 6x9's.

This is just a suggestion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Mb Quarts, they make great speakers...

Default With the stock headunit??...and factory speaker locations?

Sorry, but after some point, I think you're throwing money out the window. Those two factors alone greatly limit the ultimate sound quality. A better speaker will not overcome those deficits...it's just a better speaker playing the same "crap" if you know what I mean.
