Default Went to go mount my new 245/40-18 tires today on the car...
the rear upper control arm rubs on the tire. The tires came with the wheels I bought from ebay. Took a chance, I have 235/40 on order.

Default get spacers!
but yeah, even my 235s are within prob 5 mm of rubbing.

oh and shouldnt they be 245/35-18? i thoink those have been found to fit?

Default I don't want the tires sticking out, never a fan of that look...
rather have the right tires on there

Default probably.... I got a good deal on the wheels, so the tires were just a plus

let 'em rub and eventually they will wear down and fit..... 235/45 is pushing it on my Avant....
