Once again my brakes don't like to work too well in the rain here in the DC area. I'm sure that others around here experienced the same problems...On my way home i am going to the dealer and let them demo wet brakes for themselves...end of rant..

Stop at Criswell's in Annapolis and since it will rain for the rest of the month, they should be able to take my car out for a spin in the rain and feel it for themselves. I will not get into an argument with a service manager, i will let him drive the car and not have brakes. To be fair I have not contacted them about this yet, so maybe they know about it and will be helpful. I will post later this evening from home about how it goes. I saw the previous post, but i should (and will NOT) not have to buy new rotors and pads on a car with only 6 K miles on it. This needs a recall, too many people have experienced this problem..

One of us shouldn't have to die for this to be a problem, because, eventually, that will happen. If they want to avoid another lawsuit, they should take part in some preventive maintenence. Otherwise, the lawsuit they get hit with will cost 100 times what fixing the problem would have. Good luck!

just look at the big three and all the mishaps they've had regarding lawsuits.
Usually, actuarials estimate the cost per death and then the higher ups decide its cheaper just to settle out of court than recall all the cars.
Look at the Explorer tire issue. This wa a known problem in Suadi Arabia and Venezuela prior to it becoming a problem in the US.
Sucks, but hey, its business!
Cheers,
Peter
