What all is involved with installing my K&N air filter that I just received? Is it a DIY?

Absolutely DIY...It's so easy. All you have to do is
pop the hood, undo the silver metal clips (4 of them) around the perimiter of the airbox, lift open the airbox, remove your dirty *** old filter, slide in the K & N unit (make sure it's straight, right side up, and even) close the airbox, and re-attach the clips. You're done.
It takes 3 minutes. Good luck.

They come pre-oiled. It's a good idea to spend $15 on a K&N cleaning kit. It comes with
a filter cleaner, and oil, for re-oiling after you clean it. That's the good thing about K&N. It's a higher flow panel filter, and you don't need to re buy it...you just clean it off. MAKE sure it's dry though before you put it back in after you clean it. (dry from the water, not the oil...it should be oily to the touch).
