Your not topping much if you can't DIY. They aren't hard to do by any means.

I did my uppers myself (with the help of another AWer), and I am certainly not an expert with cars. The hardest part was getting gummed up and corroded bolts out. It took ua about 6 hours total, but that included running out to the hardware store to get some more tools (and another can of PB blaster), and it included an hour each side just to get the bolt pinching in the ball joint out. And keep in mind, that was the first time I ever did any suspension work on any car.

If you have experience and the right tools, you could probably replace all eight front control arms in around that time.
