Default Yep. I have easily dispatched big 8 cylinder monsters through first gear and parts of second.

After that they can kick my *** to next Tuesday, but for that 200 feet or less, I am freeeeee.

Default I think it probably can. Look at a WRX, 220 tq, 227 hp. The '01 A4s...

are rated right around 225 hp and 260+ tq with a stage 2 setup. With a clutch that can hold that power so you can actually launch, there is no reason you couldn't pull a 5.4 0-60 like the WRX does. In fact, since you have so much tq at lower rpms, you might even be able to beat that number.

Default Re: i dont think thats accurate...

I;m not lying man. You can come over here and read the freakin thing. 5.83 seconds. Period. The first was 6.25 (with a bad launch/crappy 1st-2nd shift) the second was 6.1 with good shifts but crappy launch. The third was fast shift and excellent launch. I don't like to sit here and have someone steal the verity from my statements. I have always UNDERSTATED cars' quicknesses. This was the same GTECH that my bro's turbo'd 240 did 5.5 seconds with...

He's not questioning your ability to tell the truth. He's questioning the accuracy of the GTech.

Default Well slicks are giving the RWD car an advantage, put slicks on the awd car as well :)

besides, slicks are extremely dangerous for rear ends on high power cars, espicially if you start hopping.

Cheers,
Sameer
