and I used the boxes that my new rims came in. When I went to UPS they taped up two boxes together, therefore shipping two large boxes. Inside the boxes, because my old rims were a little smaller, I place some styrofoam on all sides to secure a snug fit. The total shipping cost was $75 including $100 insurance per rim. The buyer said they did not have any damages upon arrival.
Hope this helps.

Incase if the rims gets damaged during the shipping you MUST have four inches of padding all the way around the wheels. Theres a foam material thats forms its self around what ever is in the box this by far is the most efficient. Take it to the UPS customer counter and ask them is they want to inspect the packaging. If you use a UPS approved box and have the proper padding then UPS will almost 100% accpet all damages...UPS employee here I do many claims for damaged computer equipment and its jsut sad to see how people pad their stuff its like they dont care about it, and i have to deny it.
