I have a pair on my Saab and I was pretty impressed. Good dry grip and great in the snow. They ain't cheap. I've had WS-50 blizzacks and LM-22 blizzacks on my A4, and prefered the LM22. I would place the Hakapellita closer the the LM22's. I haven't heard anything bad about them. Sometimes people will become very attached to a snow tire, so it depends who you ask and what type of snow you are driving in.

They are the only snow tires I have ever owned, so I can't give you a comparison to anything else. I DO know that they make my GTI into something that pulls away from a stoplight in heavy snow like I am on dry pavement. I have never been stuck (parking in 10" of unplowed snow in work parking lot on a weekend), get more traction than any SUV I have ever driven, blah, blah, blah. You get what you pay for ...
