the ones Paul sells (Tantrumwerks) don't scatter as much light as the LEDtronics do
I have both sets. While the Tantrumwerks set has one large LED that itself might appear brighter, the multiple-LED bulbs from LEDtronics.net actually scatter light in the housing better, making them more visible. The pic you posted doesn't accurately portray what they look like. The LEDtronics are more expensive but do a better job IMHO.
In fact I still have one of each in the housings; if you beg I'll go outside and take a picture.
