What color is my coolant suppose to be for a 98.5 A4?

What color is my coolant suppose to be for a 98.5 A4?
Can anyone tell me what color my coolant is suppose to be? I have orange coolant in my reservoir right now and it ran below minimum so I went to the dealer and brought the G12 pictured in an old post, but its color pinkish/red. Are they compatible with each other? Or do I need to do a flush? I've done a search already regarding coolant and most said that its suppose to be pinkish/red color so any information would be helpful and thanks in advance!

G12 is pink. Audi used G11 on some early A4's, but I think they
stopped using it before 98. I'm not sure what color G11 is, but I know it's not compatible with G12. Do a search and see if you can turn up more info.

It can look orange if your expansion tank is discoloured. If there is some other type of coolant in there (like Dexcool), flush it and refill with G12.

G11 is green, G12 is pink
if you haven't gotten your coolant changed or flushed before, you probably have G12 in there right now. the yellowish color of the expansion tank may make the G12 look more orange.

Yep, you're right my tank is just discolored turning it into orangish yellow and I dipped into the reservoir to make sure its pinkish/red (Whatever color too hard to describe). Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it!
