What is the difference between a "1 bar" vs ".8" bar chip? Is it the boost? 1 bar = 14 lbs maybe?

Default Wrong! ............... to be exact......

The conversion factor 14.7 is a common error. 1 bar = 100 kPa (kilopascals). 1 Pa = 1 N/m2 so 1 bar = 100 kN/m2. 1 bar has nothing to do with atmospheric pressure which is about 1.013 bar. 1 bar = 14.50 psi.
