Default The bulb holders in the projectors are different, and there are extra holes for the HID stuff..
Also, the cutoffs for the HIDs are deeper, allowing less of the light to go up.

What about ecode? Are they also H7/D2S?

S4 xenon ecodes? They're also H7/D2S. I have them.

I already got an HID kit with H7 bulbs. One of my headlight is scratched but I'll just live with it.

Default i've buffed out headlight scratches w/ success...
a little wet-sand action followed by a buffer using acrylic scratch remover. if the scratch is too deep, just leave it. you don't want to compromise the integrity of the lense.
