What to do with a non gutterless (?) THULE rack?

There are some applications left. Trucks for example, most pickups with racks have them mounted on brackets that allow the gutter rack to be attached.
Keep the bars and all, just sell the feet. It may not be much, but it's something.

depending on how old it is, you may not be able to find a "fit kit" for your model year a4. if it is a less than perfect fit you risk damage to your audi, damage to whatever was on top, causing a horrendous and possibly deadly accident behind you on the road when something comes loose, and prosecution for involuntary manslaughter. spend the time and money necessary to get a "perfect fit" with yakima or thule.
