Default Gotta question for V1 owners...

I was reading the FAQ on the install of the V1, and was wondering why is it nessary to do all taht wiring? excuse my ignorance but all the redar i have seen just plugs into an outlet and you stick it on the window, odviously i have not seen a V1 install. I'd like to get one but all that wiring kind of made me think twice

Default Like Makio once said...

(rough translation) They all tell you that radar is near, but only one tells you from which direction its coming. The V1 rules.

Default You have options...

You CAN just plug it into the cigarette lighter if you so choose, but most feel that it looks tacky just having a wire dangling.

A hardwire installation can be very slick and professional looking once completed. Sure, it's a lot more work, but it's very much worth it in the long run.

Default It conceals all the wires....

And when you hard wire it...the unit powers on automatically, without you having tp plug it in or turn it on everytime.

Default yeah, theres a couple sites like that

the the makers claim they are not valid... but the 8500's detection has never been beaten in a test..
also, the arrows on the V1 are really loved.
