Default What do you guys think...

I'm at 80,000 miles right now, and my car looks jacked. I don't like the way it looks, but I can live with the wheels/tires and the rally car appearance.

I'm in the mood for a go mod, and I have a few dollars to throw around. Should I chip this bitch now, or should I go suspension now and wait for the chip? I've heard both sides of the argument, but want to get a few more opinions. The suspension will be cooked around 100,000 from what I hear, no matter what I do, so that will become a necessary mod. The chip is unnecessary, but a hell of a lot of fun. I want this car to be fun to drive, but I also want it to look cool. Right now it looks like it has a Ford Explorer suspension on it.

My question is this: should I chip first and then do the suspension at 100,000, or should I do the suspension first and just chip it whenever I have the money?

TIA, fellas.

Default Chip first....

There are many more opportunities to use the chip on a daily basis than there is to push the limits of a racy suspension. Damn traffic!

Default Well, it looks like...

... a chip will be the next logical step. Everyone raves about it, so I can't wait to get this beast chipped. The suspension will probably become one of those "necessity" mods around 100,000 miles. At least that's how I'll justify it to the wife, who thinks I'm certifiably insane.

Default Ummm, not to sound like an ***....

But learn to drive first by going to an Audi Driving School. This is the best mod you can do.

Really.

Trust me.

Honestly.
