I was considering the Bailey Diverter valve for $150 or so dollars, but then thought, what about the valve from a 225hp TT Coupe, or are these just as prone to failing? Think this would work? Especially considering the valve costs about $35 or so!!!!

..with the aluminum pistons work better than the original version. The older Forges apparently had nylon pistons that expanded too much when they got hot.
But I could replace the stock Bosch valve *4* times before it cost as much as one Forge or Bailey. For what it's worth, I still have the original Bosch BPV that my car came with from the factory, and after 63K miles it is still working pretty well according to my boost gauge. Still holds a solid 18 PSI of boost. Of course, since I have a Tip I wonder if the spring in my BPV gets as much of a workout as those in manual transmission cars?
