What does a ........

resonator do? Is it something that I can do without if I want my exhaust to sound louder? Does it hurt my car if I take out the resonator?

yes.. make the car sound louder. no it does not hurt emission.

Why would you make your car louder? Do you enjoy getting stopped by cops or something?
