I want to replace the oil in the tranny with either Swepco or Royal Purple. I know the oil itself is like $30 or so. Just wondering what it costs to have a shop drain it out and replace it.
Thanks

If your tranny is tiptronic, it has lifetime fluid in them, you don't need to change them. If you do change them, they require specific transmission oil and will run you around 180 dollars for the job.

Its manual of course, I dont drive auto. I never thought it could be that expensive. I doubt that the car actually needs audi's overpriced oil. I certainly doubt its better than RP or Swepco transmission fluids.
