it will likely still have to be resurfaced...

but the fewer the miles, the better the chances that it can be done successfully.

my current flywheel is at 115k, so spring 100 for used one and 100 for resurfacing..?

I am just trying to forsee all possible costs beforing having it all apart as mechanic said he really won't know until he is in there and has it all apart. and would you trust buying kit from someone on the forum. open box item but he said he just "took a look at it"... 375 instead of 450.. if i dont buy from him then will go probably go stock cause mechanic quoted 400 for OEM.

mine @ 72k was not resurfaceable (is that a word?)

i ended up going the LWFW route as a result.

it was around $480 IIRC

worth every penny IMO... really a much more fun car to drive through the twisties... now i just need a short shifter!

that is pretty big price jump for the job...

not sure I can swing that right now... additionally the open box clutch is south bend OFE for OEM flywheel. So I LOVE the idea of it, but probably not gonna happen... And V and S short throw, good buy? (I know you said you dont have short throw yet) but wondering what your thoughts are, 125 shipped..
