What are glass packs, what do they do, how do they work?

(nomex suit on) I think they're...

fiberglass filled muffler type things that creat a crappy, loud, exhaust note.

Mrakamai has glasspacks with his Remus muffler. It sounds VERY VERY good. A deep, muted rumble.
