What happens to a wheel bearing making noise for 1.5 years?

Bearings melt and seize up... you trash your wheel hub for a much bigger $$$$ impact!

it'll get really loud...

i had one go for a while and the car was really loud.

when i pulled the bearing you can smell the burnt grease smell on it.

Mine got so loud I had to change it. It sounded like a muffler was hanging off the ground.
