what have you guys done to save weight on your a4?

He doesn't have to do all of that. If he uses some of the things, he would lose weight.

Default I believe that they are lighter than BBS I don't know about Volk.

HRE look better than Volk.

Default Took out the spare. yeah lose anything you dont need, headliners heavy i'd guess...

sunroofs are too but that depends if you have one. otherwise go carbon fiber.

Default shouldn't you have some kinda spare on you at all times.. maybe a light..light weight Doughnut?

There have been many times I kicked my self in the head for taking mine out making way for amps and other stuff..

Default not much you can do for a street driven car.

For track/race events, I remove everything that I can find in the car, mats, spare wheel/tire, tool box, cubby thing with qt of oil, rear seat cushion and trunk liner. I would take out the rear seat completely, but it's a PITA right before and after events, since I want it there for traveling to keep all of my gear in the trunk v on my lap when I brake.

Some of the track junkies here have removed things like a/c, but that's something I can't live without.
