What the heck? My car is here a month early!!!
Hey y'all,
I found out through my Mom that my car is here. The salesdude called my Dad, my dad called my Mom, my Mom called me.
) Last to find out, as always.
Anyhow, the strange thing is, I just called the salesdude yesterday and he said the boat hadn't even docked yet! I'm not mentally ready for this yet. Yikes! I'm bouncing off the walls.
I ordered May 31st and it arrived August 16th. Isn't that kinda fast? 2.5 months? Is that a record?)
I can't pick it up for two weeks because we're waiting on the stupid plates. I'm getting MNMBROS. Get it? My name is Matt, my brother's name is Mike. They both start with 'M'. So, it stands for M & M Brothers.) My dad told them no test drives and to lock it up in the back.

why do you have to wait for plates?
I don't have my plates, but I'm able to drive around just fine. The dealer puts a temporary registration on your front winshield that acts as a temporary plate, you could drive today if you want to!<p>****************************************

Ontario Canada doesn't have those
...temporary plates. If I wanted to drive it off today I would need to register with normal non-personalized plates. When the new plates come in I would have to register it a second time. Sounds great, enjoy.
Make sure they set your service interval to 8000km (or what ever it should be for 2001). When I picked up my car it wasn't set properly. I got it fixed at the first service.

Matt, we're gonna have to get a little NY-Ontario Audi club going.
I don't have one yet, but there are a few here in Buffalo that hang out in this forum. You in Southern Ontario?
