Default What if your automatic tranny goes?

Is paying the $4500 from Audi the only way? Is there a cheaper route to go?

Default If you could find one, those are rare.

Best option is the parts/junk yard.

Default Tranny isn't going to get unless you do things to make it go

Chipping the car and throwing on an exhaust shouldnt cause the tranny to go. A couple of people have had problems, but I never heard the fully story, so I can'tcommnet further.

There's alaways parts yards for getting a used tranny.

Default RS2 was a limited production car, the tranny from it bolts straight up to the 1.8T

and it's a tranny speced for much much more power as the RS2 had a lot more than the 1.8T does from the factory.
