Hi all this is my virgin post on this board and here it goes:
Last month I got the APR chip and after the install the guy told me when he checked for codes that the K wire had not been properly capped when I got my deck changed to an eclipse deck. So I took it back to the install place and now I have no idea if he actually fixed the problem as I have no idea how to check to see if he did what he said he did and more specifically if he did it right. So the question is how can I check if the K wire is properly capped? The model is 1999 A4 1.8T Quattro.
