Default Did you forget to put the small circlip on? If you didn't forget, it might have come off...

when it is down, the blue link thing is probably hitting the bottom of the tray in there...

Default The circlip around the shifter itself (the one you have to take off to get the whole thing apart) is

on. That was the only one that I was aware of. It isn't exactly small though, it's close to 2 inches in diameter.

Default Check out step 20

You will notice part "M" that is a small circlip that holds the ball part down. Once you put it together and slide the ball down as far as it will go, there is a groove right above it that the clip slips onto and holds it from moving. Did you keep all the leftover parts?

push

Default Yes I did, thanks. The snap ring actually didn't work though...

the snap ring was too think, and for a different spot on the shifter. There were 2 little silver c-washers that came with the kit, I used one of those and clamped it into the slot with pliers. Doesn't move a millimeter now. I think I'm going to pull the whole thing out and adjust it so the whole shifter sits lower though. The middle setting feels a little high.

Ya that snap ring wouldn't fit on mine. I used a c-clip. Works great, I have no problems at all lol.
