Default I think the K04-23 can refer to two turbos..

I think the "OEM" K04-23 is from a euro TT 225 with the "BAM" engine code..this one won't work.

The second is a hybrid made by MJM, its NOT an OEM k04-023..not sure why they stole the name:

For that one you'd just need a larger compressor hose. It's not an OEM turbo. Good luck finding tuning for it.

Default Do you mean MTM I suppose? I guess they stole the name so those of us who made the mistake would ...

get stuck with a useless turbo and burst into tears begging MTM or Dahlback desperately to sell you one of their rip-off turbos which happen to be manufactured by KKK on shorter runs and ONLY sold to MTM and Dahlback? Just cheap trust practice which turned expensive.

I believe MTM can provide tuning for this turbo.

Default No. MJM and MTM are not the same company.

MTM = Tuner ten miles north of Ingolstaadt
MJM = Turbo supplier in the US.

Right. So are MJM's "remanufactured" k04-15s with a bigger wheel?
