what are my chances of a cheap shop press from Harbor Freight working for front wheell bearings?

well then the 12T might do the job but it's too late. I'll take 'em in Tuesday morning.

Default i've got a 2 ton at home and it wouldn't work at all....

I ended up paying 25 bucks to get them pressed out. I would say 20 at the minimum - mine was stuck in there good. The dinky rack/pinion one won't do anything...

Default My 12 ton worked on a rear bearing but just barely

Since then I bought a Hub Shark which works OK but takes a few hammer hits to first break the bearing loose.
