plug was loose in the first place. But, he doesn't have an older 20Vt(5 cylinder). And this can happen to any car where a person doesn't torque the plugs properly or seet new plugs. Thank God for the coilpack..he just might of shot a fricken hole through his hood! Usually, when the plug is loose it will cause misfires. It might of I guess, and he didn't investigate in time. Cool nobody was hurt in the event.

Your cheapest alternative would be to buy a coilpack and new plug or all new plugs to boot. Install and check to see if car is brought back to life. You shouldn't have to go pay someone to install a coilpack and plug. I kinda feel bad for you, but hey you didn't get hurt..which is the most important thing here. Anyone can install the coilpack and plug...I suggest you do it yourself.
