what is the order of the cylinders? ie 1-2-3-4?

Default what is the order of the cylinders? ie 1-2-3-4?

I'm trying to determine which is cylinder 4. Does it go front to back or back to front or some other order.

You mean firing order? 1-3-4-2 if it's like most 4-cyl engines

No, I mean what are the cylinders labeled? Like which is #1, #2 ? ect.

closest to the front of the car is cyl 1, followed by 2, 3, then 4 closest to the firewall I think
