What are peoples thoughts on changing the stock sport springs to lower the car...

You'll really overwork you stock shocks. Personally, I wouldn't bother. Do a search on it. Unless your only priority is image, I'd say it's dumb as hell to do that.

the shocks will quickly wear out and you'll need to install shocks anyways. To save you the cost of two installs, just put in the shocks and springs at the same time. Or, you can just use aftermarket sport shocks with your stock sport springs. It'll lower the car a bit and give you better handling.
