What product I can use to kill the smell of mold after A/C is turn off.

Default What product I can use to kill the smell of mold after A/C is turn off.

Everytime I turn off the A/C I smell mold in my car, even it is worst when i open the windows, and the heat comes in, adds up to the strong smell of mold, what can I use to kill smell...

I had a stinky A/C in general, and my dealer deodorized it, it's better now.

I heard if you blast the heat on max for a while, it'll evaporate the gunky water.

Run the fan w/out the compressor for a few trips. It will clear out.

Yup. worked on two Toyotas of mine. Just blast the heat for 10 minutes.

This didn't work for me but it did get rid of the cigarette smell in the carpeting.

Default a) Stop peeing in your a/c vents and b) use some lysol...

...on my previous car, I used to turn the a/c on full tilt and spray some lysol in the fresh air intake. Worked like a champ. Since we have filters on our system, it would probably be a smart idea to take that out before spraying...but I dont know that it's required.

You get that nasty smell from condensation sitting in your a/c duct system - which starts to grow little science projects before you know it.

There's a product called BG Frigi Fresh that Rob Andrews seems to swear by.
