What are ***** and cons of 16" and 17" rims
I have not idea which way to go, my 3 of 4 rims (5-spokes) are bent (scratches, bent from inside), and they are costly to repair them here in canada, it's almost the price of new aftermarket 16" rims.
My tires (205/16/55) are less then 6000 miles, and they are in good shape, I'm trying to decide if I should stay and get 16" rims or go for 17" with all season tires. I have found few people selling their used 16 " and 17 "rims some with tires, What are the ***** and cons between 16" and 17" rims, "besides blending nicely with the car"

Recently moved to 17" from 16"
Love the way they look and the handling is better. You can hardly tell the difference in the ride comfort. You can feel a few more bumps, but it's worth it.

since you moved recently.. may i ask..
can you really tell the handling diff from 1 inch difference?
reason i asked was i had 16 sport stock and went to 18 because i figure i couldn't tell the 1 inch diff. 2 inches, yes i can tell, but not sure about 1 inch.. care to shad some unbias light?

Re: since you moved recently.. may i ask..
Can't say that I ever drove the car on a track, but I rarely can make these wheels squeel in a turn. For me the handling is great and you don't have to worry about ride harshness as in 18". The 18s are a little too aggressive for me, plus you have to worry about potholes and bending your rims.

I had changed my stock 16" wheels to 17's then changed to 18's. 18's are the way to go. They look much better than the 17's and I personally think it improves the handling.
