What is the range of optimum offsets we can run?

"like between ET__ and ET__ is okay"

Note: if it matters I am getting 18X7.5 wheels with 225 40 tires.

between ET32 and ET43 is okay.

for a 7.5 wide wheel. Don't try et32 with a 8.5 wide wheel.

it all depends on the width of the wheel, and the width of the tire. I run ET13 on an 8.5" wheel.

that's + offset...

meaning less positive offset will give more suspension clearance not less. the general offsets are 7" +45mm, 8" +35mm.
